When this song came out, I had just got married, was working in a warehouse and earning about £40.00 a week.

Jimmy, Ace were...ace the great Paul Carrack, he could sing the phone book and make it sound great! Some more of his stuff here:

Well I make you right Jimmy it was a warehouse song but not a pop song..it took it's toll after a few months on the late shift at Caligen foam :rolleyes:.. I think it was on the only tape they had..along with this crap :D

I was never a great lover of the Carpentrs songs, it was strictly a studio sound, too overproduced and false.

I,m looking for a "good" Smiths song but can't find any.:confused:
