YouTube - Brigitte Bardot - Harley Davidson video

The gorgeous Brigitte Bardot singing the kitsch classic Harley Davidson, which incidentally was covered in the eighties by German punk princess Gina X.

Love the song, Love the musical, and of course love John Barrowman!!!

YouTube - John Barrowman Sound of Musicals I am what I am

YouTube - Gethsemane - Steve Balsamo - Ahoy, Holland - June 2004

I am a bit of a Jesus Christ Superstar fan and this is the best Jesus ( except for Ian Gillan) . Steve Balsamo, fantastic voice, tasty looking and real tears towards the end of the song. Not for the faint hearted.

And me, but not Tony Blackburn, he took it off half way through in 1969, on his Radio 1 Breakfast show, and made some derogatory remark, prat.

Karma for you! That has got to be one of (if not, the) biggest injustice in British Music History!

Well, I've gone through all 31 pages, some great stuff, sadly some has timed out. Loved most of the soul stuff, Van when he could sing, Tim Buckley (an all time fave), and nice to see Buffalo Springfield are remembered.
So hope people like these - a favourite track of mine for the last 20 years, only found the daft video last night

YouTube - les negresses vertes

and a band I can't stop playing at the moment, Tinariwen. If you don't like the music there's camels, split screens and desert
