Boccherini

Apropos of absolutely nothing. I was digging around on you tube and came across these two wonders

YouTube - Luigi Boccherini - Quintetto 4 in D Major "Fandango".

YouTube - Boccherini Fandango Castanets CastaƱuelas

The first is the full version but listen only and the second is an excerpt from a longer "pops" concert.

I have only heard this piece twice before and each time it has had me rolling around on the floor with laughter. I do not think I have ever heard such a glorious and joyously mad piece of music in my entire life. I'm sorry if it bores you but I just had to share. Peter Sellers had "In the Mood" as they carried his coffin into church, I want this!

People think YouTube is all happy slapping.

There are some real gems on there, as can be seen from our Accy Web juke box thread, albeit nothing so high-brow as A-b's find.

Thanks, I enjoyed listening to that.:)

Me too. I rarely visit this site, but a recommendation from A-B meant it had to be viewed.

That's more than a bit mean.

There are lots of things I disagree about with people, but I wouldn't want them shot.

It'd be a boring old world if we all thought the same.
