it looks like modern punk though and i was into the original punk/new wave.which is why on the 28th feb one you have i'll be at manc uni watching siouxsie :theband:

A few details on this Fridays gig.

WARNING 3CR ARE NON PC AND VERY OFFENSIVE BUT ALSO VERY FUNNY

Headliners are Manchester legends 3CR who formed over 15 years ago when
they brought the 80's punk scene into the 90's with their obnoxious &
rousing live performances. They have played all over the world including
the USA with the likes of Discharge, Angelic Upstarts, Vice Squad & The
Cockney Rejects. 3CR's Music & Lyrics have a bit of everything from
Hardcore to energetic 3chord punk with a lot of fun thrown in! A must
band to see Live, they are going to Shock you & Rock You. Its about time
punk was put back into punk & 3CR are going to shove it in the Blackburn
crowds face.

Revenge of the Psychotronic Man are Manchesters most idiotic punk band!
Since they formed in 2005 and have played well over 100 gigs & are
playing Corrupted to help promote their new six track CD 'Party! in the
Van'. In the past, they've played with the likes of Goldblade, The
Hyperjax and Apocalypse Babies. They have movement, variation of pace,
melody, powerhouse guitar chords & a fine spirit and attitude. This band
are getting rave reviews & are going to go far.

To support these Monster Manchester punks we have 2 of Blackburn's
finest Punk Rockers Middle Finger Salute & returning from their
successful CORRUPTED debut gig last week Ambush UK. Middle Finger Salute
are very much into the old spirit of punk & follow the standard punk
formula, with their influences of the Bouncing Souls and Rancid worn on
their tattered sleeves. Enthusiasm is a key component - and these Guys
have it in spades.

This Friday February 29th USA's Legendary Rock Guitarist Adam Bomb returns to Blackburn. at the Cellar Bar King Street Blackburn. Adam will be performing on the new Courtyard Stage and is bringing an impressive array of pyrotechnics. It'll be a fantastic show with a mixture of his own tunes and some well known classic rock covers. His spectacular show includes fireworks and flaming guitars.

Also performing are Leeds rockers Slash Vegas who describe themselves as a melting pot of rock and roll, A Ten Tescticled Rock N Roll Machine...With The Swagger Of 12!!!!!! who intend to Bring Back Showmanship Free of Pretensions Where All Cliches are Welcome! Adam Bomb was a member of the legendary Seattle Metal band TKO & recorded the infamous 'In Your Face' album with the band. Adam Bomb has lead an increasingly colourful career, pulling in private guitar lessons with Eddie Van Halen and auditioning for KISS whilst still in his teens. Having relocated to Los Angeles in the early 80's, he shared an apartment with GUNS N ROSES guitarist Izzy Stradlin & released his debut album 'Fatal Attraction', AC/DC bassist Cliff Williams played on the lead track 'I Want My Heavy Metal'. Through out the 1980's he released numerous album & toured
Europe & the USA with bands such LORDS OF THE NEW CHURCH, LAST OF THE TEENAGE IDOLS & with NEW YORK DOLLS guitarist JOHNNY THUNDERS.

The 1990's was a busy time for Adam Bomb releasing his best known Album Pure S.E.X. & recording/playing with 2 bands THE LAST BANDITS with DOGS DAMOUR Bassist Steve James & GET ANIMAL an act that to date has issued 2 albums and toured with W.A.S.P. & HANOI ROCKS. By 2001 Adam Bomb was working with ex-LED ZEPPELIN bassist John Paul Jones & appears on the Thunderthief CD. John Paul Jones had built a song called "Angry Angry" around Adam's guitar solo. Along with Robert Fripp, Adam Bomb is the only other special guest. Adam considered it quite an honour to play guitar on a member of Led Zeppelin's solo album. For the last 6 years Adam Bomb has been touring in true Spinal Tap fashion, rocking the USA and Europe non-stop.

This gig is a must for all enthusiasts of all Guitar driven music. Not just for the live show but for the stories Adam has to tell pre & after show. What more does Blackburn want. A guitarist who has lived with GUNS N ROSES turned down the chance to play with KISS & jammed on stage with CHUCK BERRY & LEMMY from MOTORHEAD
