Manic Street Preachers - If You Tolerate This

My favourite Manics track any day of the week. It's quite rare for a recent(ish) track to be this moving, but when that bridge bit near the end kicks in with "And on the street tonight an old man plays with newspaper cuttings of his glory days, well it's hard to beat for sheer emotion.

Bob Dylan - Percy's Song

First heard it sung by Joan Baez (brilliantly) in the '67 Bob Dylan documentary Don't Look Back. A master take for it was recorded in the 'Times They Are A-Changin' sessions, but it was ultimately set aside and not officially released until Biograph in 1985.
