There are loads of songs I love from musicals but
'Sunrise/Sunset' from Fiddler on the Roof makes me smile and shed a tear at the same time. Love all the songs from this show ..

I have to say that I prefer the older musicals...South Pacific, West Side Story, Seven Brides, Oklahoma.

I saw Chicago in Melbourne.....it had rave reviews, but it left me cold...wasn't a bit impressed.

I love watching this, whilst sipping a Mint Julep.

YouTube - Mame - The South Will Rise Again

One of my favourite bars is Centre Stage in Gran Canaria, as they screen show tunes all night, including this, Lucille Ball in the Mame remake. Fifty men all knowing every word to Hello Dolly, is a sight to behold.:D

I was lucky enough to see this same cast in London's West End.

Ruthie Henshall and Ute Lemper, as Roxie and Velma respectively
