It gets better, the Bank Holiday Monday film from the Beeb is The Sound of Music

Is it any wonder the nation is drinkin' more

Sound of music is a classic, plenty of people will be chuffed to bits to hear that's on!!

I know, can't see the point in having it on the tele!

We know we are gonna lose, some entertainment that is

Just fitting some of the general media hype of the day into the post...no offence meant.

I go to Malta frequently and I've been there several times when they've been picking their entry for Eurovision. You would not believe how seriously they take it and how important the contest is for them. Unfortunately, as it happens, the Maltese songs are always crap.

I wonder how much longer Terry Wogan can go on commenting on this farce. He is hated throughout Europe for his irreverent comments and I'm pretty sure he is on several countries' death-lists.

Re: Eurovision

Terry mentioned tonight that he had to decide wether he wanted to carry on next year , so hes obviously thinking of quitting,
I was surprised we didnt get anything from malta cus we usually do..

What a load of tosh, and I say that as someone who was a fan of the camp fest that was Eurovision.

Bring back the Iron Curtain, and just have the competition for western Europe, or call it a day.

I could detect in Tel's voice tonight that he might be fed up with it as well now.

Didn't watch it, in fact haven't watched it for years, but it seems the prodictions were right, if we know in advance that we are going to come last, not because of the song, but because who we are, its time to save licence payers money and jack it in, its not a competition, its a best frinds back slapping night:mad:
