Anyone going to glastonbury?

Im one of the lucky ones to secure a ticket for this years glastonbury, and I was wondering if anyone else on here had too.
Also does anyone know of any of the bands playing, all I know is: Oasis, P.McCartney and Doves I think. Let me know if u know more and where you reckon a good place to camp is.
Cheers

Brings back great memories and I wish I was young enough to go and enjoy it the first time I was young enough not to enjoy it, are but progress now you have to pay to get in, no more trudging across fields and climbing fences, camping on a mud pile but seeing great bands. David Bowie, Traffic, Pink Fairies, Hawkwind, Fairport Convention, Edgar Broughton Band, Quintessence, Brinsley Schwartz, Family, Arthur Brown. And Melanie.
Hope you have a great time.

To all that are lucky enough to have a ticket - enjoy yourselves...it is a truly fantastic event...even if you don't see any bands there is so much to see and do..honestly. Many memorable times down there...and some that I don't remember...ahem..!!!

Went twice in 1999 and 2000, part of the fun was jumping the fence! Now that particular pleasure has been taken away, and although I can still afford the price the tickets are so hard to get hold of. We used to go down about 25 in number, but with the lottery that is the ticket situation it just aint possible now!

If Morissey is indeed playing then try and make sure to see him - a more professional artist you couldn't hope to see. Also, make sure you get up to the stone circle when the sun rises in the morning (doh! obviously morning eh?!)..it is a very special experience when that happens..in fact the stone circle is an experience at any time - but especially when all the main acts have finished - post 12pm!

Bazf - that must have been one of the very earliest Glastos?!?! No probs sneaking in then eh?!

I haven't got a ticket - but I know someone that has got one from a friend of a friend of a friend - and it's cost about £250!!!!! Still I suppose with all the bands you get to see it's still a cheap weekend at that price.

Well, it has been two weeks now since the Glastonbury festival. Was anyone lucky enough to get a ticket for the event. If you did, you must have some tales to tell... ...come one, we're all ears :)

Yes I went, not been on this site for ages, no doubt I'll get addicted again. Glasto was great, not as good as year before but highlights for me were: keane, gomez, OCS accoustic set (i was 2 rows from front) and watching footy at pyramid stage! This years should be good: so far Kylie, white stripes and new order are on! Anyone goin for tickets again???
