acoustic guitarist looking for a band or jam
 

hi
im an acoustic guitarist, i play country, blues and rock and good at fingerpicking. my influences are dylan, bruce springsteen, rev. gary davis, mississippi john hurt, elvis, jonny cash, neil young, dave matthews, brownie mcghee and many more. i wud love to meet musicians of similar taste and form a band for acoustic sets or maybe just jam and make some music. if anyones interested leave me a message.

There recently was, and maybe still is, a jam session for musicians every Monday night at The Stanley -for blues, R&B, soul and jazz.

when ive been there they have been rather pretentious.... But that was probally just me being pretentious self absorbed songwriter or something hehe...told me i 'played too long' a couple mins over 15 minutes and the regulars play 10 minute versions of songs with long solos etc... Though there was this old timer jazz guitarist there one night and people actually STFU and listened to him, the whole room was quiet apart from his awsome jazz playing
