First Dance

Just interested to know what song or piece of music you all had(or having!) as your first dance when you got married?

Mine was Truly, Madly, Deeply by Savage Garden

Re: First Dance

"Amazed" by Lonestar

It was Debbie's choice. I'd probably have gone for "Always Look On The Bright Side Of Life" by Monty Python

Re: First Dance

We wanted Nights in white satin by the moody blues but the useless D.J's equipment wouldn't play the c.d and he didn't have it in his list of songs so we ended up with i'm not in love by 10cc which has the opposite meaning!
We confused a lot of people with that one!

Ha! Why do they always do that?

Funnily enough, I can't remember the last song played at our wedding but I don't think it was that one.

Our first song was Endless Love by Diana Ross and Lionel Ritchie.

The last time I managed it down the aisle (well to the reg office) the night do was at Martholme Grange, I was working their at the time, the flaming compare Toni, cleard the floor and made me and the other half get up on our lonesome whilst he blasted out a song in our honour with everybody clapping, it may have been embarasing if I hadn't have been quite p***** at the time:D As for the song, ain't got a clue:rolleyes:
