Eric Delaney seen him a few years ago in Spain he's in his late 70's but can still hit the skins.... first class:
( found a few links on you tube) but got no sound on my pc so won't put them on...cox I don't know what they sound like.... |

I don't like it when debates like this turn into 'favourite' drummers rather than the 'best'. My favourite is Zak Starkey, but in terms of drumming ability he isn't fit to kiss Buddy Rich's flip-flops.
Another favourite, Steve White. & of course Don Henley. |

gene krupa was the best, and he only used a five drum, kit not like today's drummers.

Would have to agree with the Buddy Rich vote....would love to have seen eric Delaney in his younger days...he's still pretty darn good now!!

On a similar note went to a gig last tuesday was in bar waiting for the bigger bands to come on and took about 30 mins to realise we were sitting on the next table to the drummer and one of the guitarists from Atreyu who were the headline act :D |
