Northern soul British legion
 

Does anyone remember the fantastic Northern Soul nights spent at the British Legion Club on Abbey St (upstairs top floor) ? I seem to remember they where held on Mondays & Fridays, me and my mates/girlfriend (now wife) used to go around 1976.

used to play with a band up there around that time.... cascade : those were the days.... we played Friday and Sunday nights ( thought we had made the big time )

Smallish dance floor, not too good for spinning. Happy memories though..same era 1976..greta starter for Northern. Does anyone remember the disco at St Annes church hall?

Don't think I ever went in the British Legion but certainly remember the disco in the cellar at St. Anne's church - was a regular there round about 75/76, good times
