Should Robbie Go 'Back For Good'?

Robbie Williams said he would love to go back to Take That and he's just waiting for Gary Barlow to make that phone call...

personally i DONT think he should go back....Robbie is a singer now in his own right and an excellent one at that....Take That came back and have done brilliantly well

now Robbie doesnt need to be in the band, he has enough mmoney now to set him up for the rest of his life

i reckon it would spoil things if he came back, maybe a one off concert with all 5 of them would be good, but nothing after that

leave them all as they are, it certainly works for me that way

Re: Should Robbie Go 'Back For Good'?

Take That have made the most (and imho, only) credible music of their career since the reformation four years ago.

They've made the journey from hyped-up-boyband-crap to the land of proper music (something Boyzone have failed to do miserably).

They've done this without that fat dancer from Stoke, and now as his career his practically over, he wants in. Surprise surprise, chuck.

If they do let him back in the band it will be a decision driven purely by money as he could only work in detriment to the band, musically.

Man, this post looks like a stretched out haiku.

i agree with you shaker...well to a point anyway, i dont think Robbie's career is over just yet, but i do agree that Take Thats 'new' work is some of their best yet

i think if he does go back then it will be all over for the band

I'd say no! Deffinately not.

I never liked take that before but am finding myself a bit of a fan now, but also like some of robbies own stuff. I think that Robbie is better as a solo artist than part of a group.

That's a good enough reason not to take him back flashy, personally I think he's a nut job now, and definitely past his sell by date. He now appears in the press for anything but singing, he's definitely away with the fairies:rolleyes:

Suppose you have got to ask 'what has he got to offer by rejoining ?'. Guess not much really.

A one off spot singing `Could It Be Magic`/`Everything Changes` at one of Take Thats summer spectaculars ( Old Trafford sat 27th July please for the sake of the missus) is all i think it needs to put the `Ghost` to rest, Robbie is far better on his own as are Take That..........so i ain`t voted because its not an option.......

Take That at Old Trafford :eek:!...thank god I found out it is at Old Trafford cricket ground..almost gave me a heart attack...I had this image of cigarette lighters being waved about in the Streford End during "a million love songs" :D

I don't think him re-joining would do the rest of them any good

Hes already done that on their first tour back (sort of!) He recorded his hologram specially for the tour.

www.youtube.com/watch?v=wPCQka7B4uE

If he does do a one off as long as its not at Wembley Stadium on 4th July!!! I'll be very mad!

To me now Take That are 4! I've seen them live with 5 members and with 4 members and trust me from a live point of view they are much better now!

To be honest, did vote 'don't care a chuff' .. they do appear to write some 'lovely little songs', but why are they all so ugly and little. Not like the pop singers in our day ... when at least they were reasonably handsome .... :D:D

Take That don't need him.

He's had his day.

Thanks for that Jaysay, someone once said i looked like Freddy....could be worse i suppose, they could have meant Kruger!!

Dont think Take That should have him back, he's past his best as an artist now, whereas the rest of them seem to have matured well, and quite frankly sound much better without him. The stuff they are doing now is much better than there older stuff. The only reason he wants to be back with them is because they are now more successful than him, he dont need the money of course, but he's missing the buzz!

However, needless to say, the debate aint keeping me up at night!!:D

Best Regards - Taggy

completely agree, he didn't want anything to do with them because of his huge ego thinking he's too good for them, look where thats got him. They don't need Robbie.

Gary Barlow has stated in the press this morning that Robbie won't be rejoining Take That, so that looks like the end of the story
