Thought Springsteen and band played well and worked the crowd well - certainly better than Kasabian who were sh**

Neil Young was brilliant, as was Springsteen last night. Good to see Miami Steve still rocking with The Boss, despite his hardships in the Sopranos ;)

Wouldn't give the time of day to 99% of acts at Glastonbury, but that's my particular taste. What does concern me is that the BBC sent 407 employees to cover this ""event", and we're paying for 'em through our licence fee! Typical beeb self-indulgence.

Slightly less than the number of staff they sent to cover the Beijing Games, Jaysay...and they can't even use the tired old "we've got to compete with our commercial rivals" argument they trot out when justifying the obscene amounts of money they lavish on non-talents like Ross, because no one else even wanted the contract to broadcast the concert.

No, it's just pure self-indulgence with our money. About time these arrogant sods were reined in and the amount of hard-earned dosh we hand over to them was slashed accordingly!

The powers that be at the beeb have actually said that most people paid for their own tickets, then no doubt claimed the cost, plus extras, on expenses, where have I heard that one before:)
