A few years ago my dranddaughter won a competition to attend an award ceremony, where she was allowed to meet the celebrities back stage. She is 19 now, suppose she looks around 12/13 then ?

I have photographs but didn't name them, no idea who they all are.
Thought the first one may be Atomic Kitten ... the Kerry Katona thread prompted me.

Number 2 - the person on the right is Aleshia Dixon but not sure what band she used to be in.
Number 4 is that Big Brother winner - think he's called Brian.
Number 7 is Westlife.

I think the one where she is on her own with a young lad was a Big Brother winner, but don't watch it.

Thank you everyone, can now label some of these photographs.

Was no use asking granddaughter ... she couldn't remember, and not her choice of music any more I suspect ... :D

Which one is Kerry Katona on the Atomic Kittens picture ? They all look the same.

Kerry Katona isn't in the Atomic Kitten photo, she'd been replaced by Jenny Frost.
Again, wish I didn't know this stuf.

Shouldn't be ashamed Shakermaker ... at least you have looked around the music industry to settle on the music you enjoy now ... whatever that may be. Please don't say Country and Western.

Had to laugh, just looked on granddaughter's facebook entry, and these are the singers she has listed as favourites; never heard of half of them ... :rolleyes:

It depends on what your perception of country & western is. If you've only been subjected to the dated stereotype of sequins and Dolly Parton wigs then no, I'm not the biggest fan going. However if you mean the real stuff from the genre that has spawned some of the greatest songwriters and musicians in popular music history then I'd have to say I love a large portion of it. From Hank Williams to Johnny Cash to George Jones to Gram Parsons to Townes Van Zandt... you have to dig below the surface for the great stuff. :)

Whoops ... sorry Shakermaker .... :D Like anything else, choice of music is subjective. Just find C & W utterly boring and sad ... do like Dolly Parton though ... :)
