Re: Stanley Street Jam Night
My son was, and maybe still is, a regular attender.
Rob Livesey Band I am not sure whether it is still going, because lately he has been going to a jam night at the Royal Hotel Gt Harwood on Wednesdays. I will ask him tomorrow and report back. |

Re: Stanley Street Jam Night
Still going as Margaret says, it's a good night Jazz, Blues, and everything in between. Don't go every Monday night, but get there on a fairly regular basis.

Re: Stanley Street Jam Night
It's still going my son has been going for the last four weeks and loves it. He plays a few shadows tunes his name is Reece and he is 12yrs old. we are now looking for new venues for him to play in to get him some experience and build up his confidence.

Re: Stanley Street Jam Night
Rob is your son?
He was a total jerk towards me "you played 17-18 minutes and your supposed to be on 15" and I havent been back since. Don't go if your a self absorbed, melodramtic and pretentious songwriter; such as myself. You wont be made welcome. I went to a jam night that some from stanley street attend in blackburn at the alexandra; it was much more friendy Quote:
