Dansaks-John Cunliffe
 

Dear web stalwart Cashman has alerted me to the fact that John Cunliffe, musician and singer with Accrington group The Dansaks, died suddenly on May 16 in Indonesia. As a tribute to him I am posting the only photo of our group I have - dating from 1964 or 65. They were good days and we had some great times. John will be missed. :theband::theband::theband:

Sorry to hear about John, we played with the Dansaks quite a lot in the mid sixties, we got to know each other quite well. He did an excellent rendition of 'Hide Your Love Away', did he carry on in music?
Hope he had as good a memories as I had.

Dunno aint seen him fer donkeys years, will ask John Anderson, if i bump into him, which is rare, bin about 18 months/2yrs last time. never see haircut "Jeff Greenwood" n he only lives 5 mins away.
