Musicians wanted for jam / open mic nights
 

If you want to get on the music scene but dont have a band, or your band havent played many gigs and you want to show off your talents then why not come to The Black Dog open mic nights.

We have a house band set up with a full back line and pa and the band can jam or sing along to help you if needed.

We have alsorts of musicians including one that plays a ukulali which is very different, especially when he plays a Metallica song!!!

What ever your skill level, you can get involved. Last time, we had 5 guitarists, drummer and 2 singers up at the end of the night playing a few songs together. None of them really knew each other which made it even better.

Next jam night will be Thursday 30th June from 8pm til late.

Is this still running? Sounds good. I have played a few of my songs only once to an actual audience (at Bacup folk club) and would like to have another crack at it :)

I'd heard that the Black Dog closed a few months ago but not 100% certain.
