Flash mobs are organized by professionals, irrespective of what form the 'Flash' takes. I suggest you spend a little time in the smoke and take part in some of these events when they occur - providing, of course, that someone will be nice enough to you to cut you in with the event notification. If I'd have been in Copenhagen when this happened, being somewhat of a maverick, I wouldn't have joined in with the flash mobbers.
