James Von Streeter and his Wig Poppers Chit'lins - YouTube

Wynonie, you've fairly dug deep on youtube to find them. Now tell me where I can find the C D for them. Good to get you going but still a poor responce.

ClaytonX...

James Von Streeter available on a 4 CD set "Hamhocks and Cornbread" all 40's/50's stuff but maybe too bluesy for your tastes.

"The Essential Jay McShann" (£2 on Amazon)

Lucky Millender "Apollo Jump" (£1.99 on Amazon)

Both well worth a punt at that price!

Re: Orchestras

The very first tape I bought, to play in my brand new cassette player, at the height of glam rock, was The Very Best of The Jack Parnell Orchestra.

Good, though the seven year old me prefered listening to my Glen Miller Orchestra L.P.

:D
