Like your ideas off a drama Kes:D

Why do you think the word dramas requires an apostrophe?

Because an apostrophe indicates either a missing letter (There's the bus) or a possessive (John's book). The word dramas is neither.

That was a mistake - but since when have you been the forum dictionary punctuation moderator?

Thank you Margaret - that takes me back - used to love him years ago. I've heard that routine before but never seen it performed - wonderful!

Incidentally, you've also put the apostrophe in the wrong place on the last word.

Re: Thrilling Drama's!

Calm down Kes - it' only a little thread wander - and someone else has started a thread about one of the programmes - possibly because you posted this in the wrong section.

Re: Thrilling Drama's!

Also, in the comment next to the negative karma you've just given me, you've left the "c" out of punctuation.

I watched the last episode of Line of Duty--- am I the only one who lost the plot? Who was the irish curly haired guy playing golf Tommy? and had I missed his appearance in previous episodes and who were the good guys and who were the bad guys--- my husband didn't seem to be able to answer my questions and he watched it too so I would be grateful if someone could enlighten me as I am sure I missed out on something really good, so the critics say--- gripping compelling drama--- apologies for mistaken comma and apostrophe moments--- I'm usually a stickler for them but I forgive you all for misuse of them!!!Just gimmee the story!!!!

I don't think you've ever posted anything, or anything positive to any thread I've started or contributed to and all of a sudden you start getting pickey about punctuation - why?

Yeh the end was a bit vague to me also. That was the first appearance of this Tommy character who was playing golf, in previous ones he'd just been a nasty guy on the phone.

What happened is the alleged bent copper, the black guy - was going to turn this Tommy in for doing several murders and dealing drugs and so on. But he got hit by a truck - was this deliberate or accidental? Not sure? Anyway what happened is then Tommy went into that porta cabin/office with the other bent copper and that bent copper said something which I didn't fully understand - but I think was saying something about a deal and he mentioned Al queda or something - so I don't know what the deal was for and why Tommy was let off for the crimes he'd done?

Just trying to help you express yourself better. Incidentally, it's very difficult to post anything "positive" on any of your threads, because you talk such utter drivel.

Bull - don't patronise me mate. One mistake and you jump on it! Also your judgement is rubbish - the only posts I recall of yours seem to be posting old skool R & B and soul - I can't recall anything else?

ha ha ha - that was a mistake as well - but also you made one mis-spelt "th - r - ead!" I thought the mods usually moved it if it was in the wrong subject?

No, I started a thread wander...it happens quite a lot on Accyweb. I asked you a simple question, you then threw your toys out of your pram and started dishing out the neg karma. With an attitude problem like that, is it any wonder you encounter so much hostility on here?

No reason to hold a grudge against you. However, I asked you a simple question, you chose to turn it into an argument. Then you wonder why so many long-serving members on here have such a low opinion of you!
