Top of the Pops reruns

I absolutely love the repeats of Top of the Pops - currently at 1978 so running 35 years late - on BBC 4. However last night's was an absolute classic for cringiness.
Firstly Kate Bush with her attempt to sing to camera and failing on her debut.
Secondly and most memorable for me was Legs & co dancing to Rosé Royce's "I'm wishing on a Star" with the most inappropriately placed stars on their outfits upon which I'm sure every adolescent male wished on most Thursday nights.
I'm always impressed by the range of styles in the eclectic mix of the charts from yesteryear even if they do sit rather awkwardly on the same stage.
Wasn't sure whether to put this in music, tv or nostalgia so any mods feel free to redirect as you see fit.

I actually went to see Rose Royce many, many, moons ago at the Floral hall Southport when I was a mere stripling of a Lad (it was admittedly to try & impress a Lass back in the early 80's) & I must admit to enjoying the show. :)

I've been watching it for 18 months now, although I miss the odd week because of the repeat thing, but its great to turn the clock back
