Sad News !

Ray Manzarek, a founding member with The Doors whose keyboard work was a touchstone of hits like Break On Through to the Other Side and Light My Fire, has died at the age of 74 after a battle with cancer

If ever the word innovative meant anything it was in relation to Ray's imaginative and ground-breaking Keyboard playing without which The Doors would never have been !!.
A fascinating Musician !......RIP,

Missed that Cashy !!....owd age again !!....

Used to play a Roland VK 7....a sad instrument to say the least !!....'limited' describes it well !!.
But Ray liked it a lot and carted it around for years...here he is with his keyboard doin' what he did well !.....

Sadly there are so many who are gone but who will never be forgotten K-Man ....just thankful that I can still enjoy listening to great artistes ! ...Caught this lady's gig a couple of weekends ago, boy does she swing !.

Trevor Bolder, bassist with David Bowie's Spiders from Mars band of the 70s has also died aged 62, he joined Uriah Heap in 76 and quit playing a few months ago due to poor health RIP
