Still makes me laugh. I remember hearing these regularly on Children's favourites in the 50's. Was the presenter Uncle Mack?

Yes it was Uncle Mac (Derek McCulloch) who is best remembered, Leslie Crowther took over from him and then later Ed 'Stewpot' Stewart. Remember Sparky the magic piano, The runaway train and Three Billigoats Gruff too.

Oh love that.Always makes me laugh. I like the Driving Instructor too and there used to be one about a woman hanging out of a window. I have a cd of his but that s not on.

Dark Town Poker Club is one of my other halfs favourites. He had it as a teenager and still remembers all the words. Woodman Woodman Spare That Tree was another.He drove the woman next door mad playing that over and over again.
