UK Null Punt!!!
 

Anyone bother to suffer through the yearly political "we're not your mates anymore so yer gettin' nothing from us!" carry on that goes by the laughable moniker of the European song contest last night?



Was over at my mates for a bit of banter, beers, scoff & a comfy bed for the night, good do all round really but fools that we were the "Idiot box" got turned on around the last song & the tallying up! (Oy Dotti, your crowd have got some explaining to do! :D), the groans of disbelief at the unbelievably blatant complete & utter nepotism & cronyism were legion, still it's what we've come to expect from this yearly groanfest. ;)


Anywho, the main reason for writing is not to complain as such because it wouldn't be eurovision without the carry on & chicanery. No, I write as a proud, loyal & patriotic Englishman rejoicing in the fact that we scored "Nul punt!". My cup runneth over with merriment & pride at our performance amongst our enemies & snakeoil "friends" in europe ...... long may it so remain & in the words or Barmy Barnier, JC Junky & the Jackbooted Iron knickered harridan Ursey can't stop lyin' .... Brexit has consequences!


Yet who'd a thunk it would also cause such Pride & Patriotism for the free citizens of the Mother country? :D ;)

Perhaps we should have a referendum to see if we should pull out of Eurovision?
Then we can spend 5 years discussing how we should pull out of it, the excuses from the remainers would be far more interesting than the one night a year snoozefest that we have at the moment (and they probably carry a better tune).

I had the very good fortune to be getting blissfully alcohol infused with friends during the evening of the europeon meow meow, hiss hiss, caterwauling contest, something I was immensely pleased about.

As to Genderdik, nope! Plague & avoiding were the nights maxim. Other than that, on the German radio stations they'd been doing it to death for the last couple of weeks or 4. :D

Well it's that time of year again folks, any takers? It looks like our proud tradition of "Nul Punt" is to be sacrificed due to the UKs & Boris's recent upturn in popularity due to our assistance to Ukraine & our eastern allies in NATO.

So no "Ducks" for us tonight I'm assuming, enjoy the political/tactical voting & "Enjoy" the spectacle. :D :thankya: :cheers:

I avoid watching anything at all to do with this crapfest.
I would rather clean the inside of my oven…..and that is something I avoid like the plague(I get someone else in our household to do it)

That or those of us with nothing to do & lots of alcohol on hand! Yeah, to my eternal shame I actually let it run on the idiot box last night while I was online reading the papers. Must admit to varying levels of bemusement, hilarity & actual toe tapping.

That said though it's not something I'll be doing on a regular basis. :D ;)
