Playoffs predictions
We wont have much of an impact with the last game as Hereford are guaranteed a place. we can only effect there position...
Who do you want to win the playoffs Carlsile just to get rid of them next season as I think they would be stronger.. get rid and make it easier for us. Aldershot because they went so close last season and have had a simmilar uphill climb to us entering the conference at the same time. Morecambe because its always good to root for a NW team unless there a big nasty old rival which Morecambe arn't really.. some of there fans try to stir it up between the clubs but in reality there just a nice club up the road.. Hereford. hmm no real thoughts on them... Exeter. I have been predicting a Exeter v Carlisle final for some time but its looking highly ulikely now... My prediction.. Going for the safe bet... Carlisle to win the playoffs and get promoted.... |

Same thoughts as you, Kipax. I'd like Carlisle to go up. They are a club that seem to have considerable resources and I think they will splash out on new players in the summer, making them a force to be reckoned with next season. Let's hope they go up and out of the way, leaving us a clear run at the championship!

I would like either Carlise or Aldershot to go up but wouldnt mind if Morcambe went up either i would prefer Aldershot to go up if it came down to the 2 of them in the final with them and us coming up at the same time

Carlisle look the best bet, then we can replace them next year when they come back down and we don't have to see them again.

I want carlisle to go up 2..I think they are the only team we cannot compete with in this league. gate reciepts...no.of fans..so i would rather see the back of them.Do not get me wrong on the field we are more than a match but off the field we are in a different league. |

I will be going to and taking photographs at Stevenage v Hereford on the 2nd and Carlisle v Aldershot on the 6th .. the latter should be the pick of the two. I will also be going to the final.. I am guessing Carlisle v Hereford (hope so, would be a full house I guess).. If the ConferenceN playoffs and final don't clash then I will be going to them as well.

So, hopefully Carlisle will stuff Stevenage next Saturday (just like we did) and be safely out of the way for next season. Incidentally, I'm sure all Stanley fans will join be in offering sincere commiserations to our friends at Aldershot on missing out YET AGAIN. Football league?...yer 'avin' a laugh!

Stevenage deserve to go up over all. They were virtually robbed of a place in the football league some seasons ago so good luck to them.
