Matty O'Neill
All the best.... I thought you where good enough to warrant an extension of the loan if not a bid put in. But what do I know eh..... Good luck back at Burnley..
|
Re: Matty O'Neill
Aye he seemed ok. All the best to him.
|
Re: Matty O'Neill
He is out of contract at Burnley at end of season
|
Re: Matty O'Neill
did very well here..maybe a permanent signing at the end of the season...if not all the best in the future to the lad
|
Re: Matty O'Neill
Yeh liked matty a lot, similar circumstances to Lee last year...... Lets wait and see
Whatever happens he has a few fans/friends at Stanley now, Good luck matty. |
Re: Matty O'Neill

|
Re: Matty O'Neill
Matty looked very promising;I wish him well.Hopefully we will see him back.
|
Re: Matty O'Neill
Good luck matty wherever your footballing future lies and...... thanks
|
Re: Matty O'Neill
He returned due to injury, but I for one would love to see him playing on the right for us next season.
|
Re: Matty O'Neill
He returned because its end of season lol
|
Re: Matty O'Neill
Yes I know that :) hehehehe but he was injured too thats why he hasnt played for about a month
|
Re: Matty O'Neill
He was going back to Burnley for treatment for his injury.
I think he will be a good signing for Stanley he just needs to put on a bit of weight. He has surprised me when he was here on loan he played better than i thought he could, still room for a lot of improvement though. |
Re: Matty O'Neill
Something Tells Me He`ll Be Back Next Season ....... He Just Has Played Well When He Has Been On The Pitch , And , With More First Team Football , Could Be One Of The Stars Of The Show !!!!
|
Re: Matty O'Neill
He has now been released!!!! ;)
Watch this space ;) :) |
Re: Matty O'Neill
I think Matty O'Neil would be an excellent aquisition for Stanley.
It wouldn't surprise me to see a few other clubs eager for his signature during the close season. |
Re: Matty O'Neill
matty would b e an ace player if the club snaped him up hopefully he'll play for us
|
Re: Matty O'Neill
id like to see him back to, ive got a feeling that Bury are interested to, and i know Oldham where looking at him!
hopefully he will be down at the crown next season! |
Re: Matty O'Neill
Matty O'Neill seemed Ok when he was with us on loan and I would like to see Joel Pilkington given a trial - I believe he plays at right back and we'll need cover for Cav now the club have seen fit to get rid of Paul Howarth.

joel can play anywhere, ! usually middle of midfield |
Re: Matty O'Neill
Yeah , With Rory Leaving , Maybe We Need Him , Young And Pacy
|
Re: Matty O'Neill
Yep Joel can play in a lot of positions, his best is center midfield. 2 years ago he was better than Chaplow was and was going to be the one going into the Burnley first team instead of Chaplow, unfortuneatly he got injured and was out for 6 months
I dont think he will be coming here though because he is on trial for a Belgium top flight club!!!!! |

whos this Belgium club then cafu???? |
Re: Matty O'Neill
I have forgotten the name of them but they were promoted this season and will be in the Belgium premiership ot whatever they want to call it
|
Re: Matty O'Neill
Matty O'niell was seen at the club one evening last week waiting to speak to 'the Gaffer', his words not mine!!
Personally i would love to see Matty here at the IES but he would have to become a little less easy to shrug off the ball, he needs a bit more muscle to him!!! however with plenty of games I'm sure this would come. |
