Hereford FC

Well done to all Stanley fans for their support at a club who clearly couldn't have given a toss whether we were there or not!
Refusing to give us a goal end despite our numbers.
Charging the kids £8.00 each when their own kids were let in for a miserable £1.00. We brought eight kids along with us, most friends of our two, & they were left short after expecting similar entry fees as at home. If we had not been there they would have been stuck outside in a strange town for two hours-good thinking Hereford FC!
(goodness knows what they charged us extra at the snack bar to home fans.)
Over effiecient stewards who rode roughshod in coming in & removing the Welsh banner>
I asked the chief steward what he thought he was doing to be told "that is racist & can incite violence" I told him & still suggest that he re reads the Race Relations act & get his facts right. I understand that bullying is also an anti policy of the football league & he reads up on that too!
Also to the police for their kind insistance to get us out of town. I am sure the local traders who we spent money with would not have been happy with their policy, to the extent of fining one of our drivers £80.00 for stopping to let the Stanley fans spend some money, peacefully mind you, since when was this an act against civil or public law?
To the players, thanks for putting on an entertaining game & we wish you well in the playoffs. But for the sake of future visiting fans ensure your supporters forum lets the management & local bill know that they were over zealous today & who knows have been with other visitors to your town this season. It costs nothing to be civil after all. http://www.accringtonweb.com/forum/i...cons/icon8.gif

Re: Hereford FC

Since when have our kids been let in for £1?

The home and away prices at Edgar Street are exactly the same.

£7 for kids + £1 as we are in the top 5(this applies to all prices)

Re: Hereford FC

Not what we saw today. Clear discrimination against away fans. We charge 12s & under £3 & less on certain cup games. To charge kids same as senior kids & concsessions is rich especially with travel costs on top! Come on, Hereford could have done better, especially for thelast game of the league this season. & that is only one of our complaints, note nothing said about the other points or is this a common occurance to harrass away fans down there?

Re: Hereford FC

Absolute crap, the prices for home and away are exactly the same.

£11 Adults, £8 concessions. We don't give a damn about what you charge for under 12s.

Another thing, you don't have a right to display stupid banners, you do so with the stewards consent. If the stewards believe it would be inciting the crowd they have every right to stop you showing it.

If I turned up at Accrington(god forbid we'll ever have to return) with a banner saying "We see retarded northen monkeys" then I would expect to be denied to display it, and rightly so.

Re: Hereford FC

Could you provide proof of this "discrimination", before you start peddling lies.

No other team has complained of discrimination. Home and Away fans are charged exactly the same. Fact.

All concessions are charged the same £8/7 (depending on league position) for standing. Every other club has been charged this. Why should you be any different because you charge under12s less?

Re: Hereford FC

this doesn't surprise me at all. Hereford's administration staff (ticketing, secretaries etc,) are a disgrace. Rude and obnoxious. The club's staff are notorious for it.

Bring one next season and you'll find OUR stewards joining in and having a good laugh about it with the rest of us!
:)

What was with concessions sitting costing £13-00 then ?

Re: Hereford FC

I believe it is against league rules to charge more for away fans, so if you have a problem, report it. You won't though will you?

As for the extra £1 for us being in the top 5, that is our pricing policy, so like it or lump it. We don't care what you do or don't charge when you briefly hit the dizzy heights of 2nd, and we're not going to change it just for you. Why should we?

Did the club try and fine you £80? No, of course not, so why do you throw the blame in our direction?
