Shame he is not being kept on... However he had a good spell at the mighty barrow and wouldn't be surprised if they didn't sign him up..

He is being given a testimonial which is good... I would like to see us play a team.. Maybe barrow? rather than all the all stars crap which is just a cop out... Accy v the mighty Barrow for smithies testimonial... Got to be surely ?

He joined us in June 03 Thus isnt it only this season and last season.. I dont think he was with us in the Unibond..

Thus its career apps and goals MINUS this seasons apps and goals isnt it ???



I make that 39 apps and 1 goal for last season....

Failing that then the only person who would know is Phil Terry.. I doubt even Cookie knows :)

We'd love to have Jonothan Smith back but Stalybridge and Southport are after him and they will be able to offer him more money than us and so it's doubtful whether or not we'll get him.....

I wouldn't mind seeing Kennedy and James at Barrow but again they're probably out of our price range.

Jonathan Smith signed for Stanley in the summer of 1999 from Great Harwood, Total appearances for Stanley is over 246 games scoring 29 goals
