Well Stalybridge couldnt do the last bit after beating Stanley.. But they where te better team and only an injury time goal against the run of play made them lose the final.. they must be gutted

Well done, Kipax, for going there. I feel a lot of sympathy for Stalybridge this year ; they've beaten some much bigger names in Cup competition but just found it too hard to win the key games in the league. At least, though they managed to avoid the drop , so let's wish them well for next season.

I've often wondered though . . . wouldn't they increase their popular support by dropping the "Celtic" bit from their name ?

It just seems a little partisan in this day and age.

However , it's always nice to visit them at (is it Bower Fold ?) .
Friendly crowd, surprisingly good facilities, well-priced grub, plenty of parking . . . and free plane-spotting !

Its Harrogate v Southport on sat for me... Last confN games .. Southport need a win or maybe a draw or might get away wiht a lose to be promoted to conference.....Should be a cracker! :)
