Withdrawal syptoms?

For Stanley fans already suffering withdrawal symptoms from no footie at the Interlink, the Reserves will be playing- yet again this weekend- Barrow at the Showground, Gt Harwood. Kick off is at 1.00pm. Show a bit of support for Lodgie & his development of possible future stars of Accie Stanley.

Re: Withdrawal syptoms?

Update:[U] Unfortunately not good news for Stanley who went down 5-2. Young Fearon in goal did not have as good a game as previously. Neither did one of the linesmen who tripped on the rough Harwood playing surface, tearing his knee ligaments. After an ambulance was called & dealt with the chap the playing time was reduced to 40 mins each way, with the Barrow Manager running the line. Any favouritism shown by him-complaints in writing to Lodgie at Acc Stanley etc.....

Re: Withdrawal syptoms?

It would have been extremely difficult to have as good a game as i did in the last game, especially with 200mph winds and the fact that it was my 6th match in 7 days.
