re John timmins questions to the club (that should only be answered by the club in that thread..)

there are 5 parts to the accy stanley ground.. the main stand runs from the coppice terrace to the halfway line.. then it was the thwaites stand from the halfway to the clayton terrace. the whinney hill terrace (cow shed) being the fifth

as was apparent on saturday at the game.. the club bar is now a john smiths and not a thwaites.... thus the stand as part of the deal is renamed from thwaites to smiths..

i am sure rob will confirm :)

I think maybe the way the old Thwaites signs were dumped down the side of the burger van kinda gave it away too! ;)

awwww and my son really wanted to believe it was renamed as a lasting testament to johnny smith!!! awww poor love :)
