[QUOTE=KIPAX]SURROUND HIM! HAHAHAHA
Apart from that he was invisible all night. What have you done to him up there? He used to show signs of talent and was responsible for us getting into Conf North. Not the player he used to be on last nights showing. |

Re: Alty plan to stop Craney
Alty over-ran us in the midfield last night, which caused us no end of problems. Everytime any of our players got the ball they were immediately closed down by two players.
I don't think that a midfield with Barry and Craney works at all. |
Re: Alty plan to stop Craney
I'd like to see Ged back in there :)
I would personally play 4-5-1 at Cambridge take Mangan out not because of his performances because he looks very good but I'd add Ged into the midfield.... |
Re: Alty plan to stop Craney
I agree Ged is needed in there.... many times he looks like he aint doing that much, but plays clever football, fast passing, simple passes, creating space waiting for an opportunity to attack. I think he would help us settle down.

Re: Alty plan to stop Craney
We need someone to win the ball in midfield. If he's on form, then Brannan is the man to do that. Otherwise I'd go with Proccy and I'm surprised that he didn't come on last night when we were being over run.

Re: Alty plan to stop Craney
I would pick Proccy too, but away from home against Cambridge we need experience in there IMO :)
Proc is a great player but if we do play 4-5-1 which is likely I dont think you could have Craney, Barry and Proc in the same centre midfield 3....thats the reason I'd play Ged :) |
