ok, just had text from sparkie, no fear of crichton coming back as he's now at cambridge, so come ultras there should be another song for you to make up for match on sat.

Is this a Stanley Curse. Last year it was a broken leg for JK this year a broken arm for Danny. Is this guy unlucky or what!. Get well soon Danny.
I too would like to wish Martin Fearon all the best for Saturday and the future as cover for Danny.

I didn't think that he had signed for Cambridge, last I heard is that he played a pre-season friendly for Boston United.

Re: Danny Alcock - Broken Arm

well it was on the bbc sport website not so long ago that crichton had signed for cambridge, however, and this is not good news, i have been on cambridges site and he's not mentioned in the squad listings at all.

Please don't bring him back, as any goalie who is nicknamed SH!TEON by one of our ball girls after the displays he put in for us does not deserve to be at this club!!!!

All the best Danny you'll be back before you know it.

P.s. Can I sign your cast!!!

To Danny Alcock , Young Player of the Year , I want to tell you how distraught I was to hear of your injury . You can be forgiven for thinking that someone-up-there must have it in for you. On the contrary , this is probably a real and opportune test of your character from which you'll emerge triumphant.

And I know from what I've seen of you that you'll heal both physically and mentally , and before you know it you'll be restored to the full powers that you previously possessed.

Danny , I'm sure that you'd never underestimate the respect and affection in which you are held within the Accrington Stanley "family". We're behind you 100% .

There are so many of us who care about you a great deal , so we hope to see you and your dad at every possible game . . . firmly in the knowledge that you'll be back on that field before you know it !

God Bless.
