Sponsorship alliance.

Following on from information in another thread, John Timmins and myself are going to part sponsor a Stanley player.

We are going for the £120 option, so one of us will get our players shirt at the end of the season.

We are looking for anybody else who has a spare tenner to join us. If you want to put in more you'll have a better chance in the draw we'll have to see which one of us gets the shirt.

Please help us to support the club. Who we choose to sponser will be done on a vote, and the same for what we call ourselves.

If you are interested either pm John Timmins or myself.

We know we've nicked Kippax's idea, but now we know how much it costs, and the poor state of affairs according to the Exeter programme, it'll give us the little people a chance to help the club.

John and I are going ahead anyway, who else, if anybody, decides to join us will decide if we can have jam on our bread next month.;)

You managed it all in 24 hrs.. thats not bad...

Last season I got everyone together to sponsor a game.. everyone paid something like 15 quid each and for that you get tour of the ground, program each.. game entry.. free food and free drinks... name the man of the match... price will be diff this season... it depends how many you get.. you can have loads and a whole accyweb meet there :)

Last time we didnt get the tour because of a cock up wiht the times.... I aint going to organise it this year.. but if one of you want to take the task on I would chip in... sponsor a game.. what a great day out :)

Because of the great reponse, perhaps in the future we could incorporate Kipax's suggestion of sponsoring a match and incorporate it with an Accy Web monthly meet.:)

Guys if you are ringing in tommorow with your credit card details you need to speak to a girl called Hannah who will take your details who will then pass the name you want in the programme alongside Jagielka onto me. Is it home or away shirt you are after sponsoring, I'm presuming home????

Also, it won't be in for the Woking game purely because the deadline for the programme is a Thursday dinner but I will make sure it is in the Crawley game programme.

If you want further info on sponsoring a game let me know ok I'll fill you in with more details.....

Just wanted to say - good on you guys - I think it would be fair to say you havent been here very long (hope I dont offend anyone by saying that - by here I mean accy stanley forum only....) and your already showin a great deal of commitment to the club. As Spuggster states, helps the club out a lot which is only a great thing...

Cheers Jimbo. I am a new fan, and no offence taken.

In London I used to go to Chelsea or Wimbledon, now I'm back home this is much the best thing I've done, supporting the Reds.

It was a pleasure, along with John Timmins, to help the club a bit, especially with people who perhaps don't frequent the Stanley forum much, so thanks also to Roy and the mods for also letting me also post it in the General Chat thread.

I would be up for it anyone else? the more the merrier and it would bring the individual cost down. Think it would be "A Claim To Fame" or claim.

what bollox... I already posted to garinda in another thread my support and said how well i think your all doing.. i even suggested the sponsor a match to him.. i have had nothing but praise for whats being done.. WTF is all this about robbing my idea? its hardly rocket science..

I would be more than happy if someone took my idea every day of the week and ended up sponsoring all the players...

Kipax gave us nothing but support, and we acknowledged that we were following in his footsteps. Thanks to Roy and the mods letting me post in the General Chat forum, we managed to drum up some support and dosh from people, who like me until recently, didn't come in this section much.

Some of the sponsors, like Baby boo, have said she will try to come to some games as well.:)
