Ged Brannan
Can't say I'm totally surprised at the news that Ged has gone, he obviously wasn't figuring in Colemans plans although I don't know why. Personally I thought he held the midfield together whenever he played, good luck to him wherever he goes.

Re: Ged Brannan
I heard that Southport were interested in him.
|
Re: Ged Brannan
All the best to the lad. He always loked a classy player when I saw him play and he was undoubtedly Stanley's 'flashest' player. Flash as a rat with a gold tooth in fact. Good luck being flash somehwre else Ged!!

Re: Ged Brannan
Sorry to hear Ged is leaving us..... always thought he was a class player and an intelligent player for us, hope he moves on and enjoys first team football somewhere else soon.
And a BIG thank you for the hatrick at daggers away last year ;) All the best. |
Re: Ged Brannan

All the best fella still think he could do a job for us :( |
Re: Ged Brannan
Quality player, will be missed.
Not only on the pitch but his experience would of hepled the young lads. Good luck to him wherever he goes. |
Re: Ged Brannan
Ged played full 90 mins for Radcliffe against Whitby Town today
|
Re: Ged Brannan
Glad to hear he's getting the chance to play, even if it's in a league he's way too good for

Re: Ged Brannan
It was in Friday night's Stanley programme that Ged may be going to Morecambe but cannot until the transfer window in January, so in the meantime he is playing for Radcliffe.
|
Re: Ged Brannan
My apologies, I didn't buy a programme on Friday so didn't know about that. Just hope that wherever Ged ends up he gets to play regularly, he deserves it.

We're two Lancashire sides trying our best to hit the big time and should any of your decent strays head our way then i'd welcome them with open arms if they are likely to improve our status in the League. Brannan is a very decent player and who wouldn't be interested in him? |

Re: Ged Brannan
he is young and with some good team work IMO I really don't think we have seen the best of barry yet!! :)
|
Re: Ged Brannan
Yea I know he's only young but he seems to be Coleman's new 'golden child' - and at the moment I really can't see why.
|
Re: Ged Brannan
if anything anthony barry is under rated!! He breaks up the opposition play and feeds the wingers. IMO he was what we missed last season a real terrier in midfield and he is one of the reason we are doing well this season....Claude Makelele eat your heart out :)
|
Re: Ged Brannan
Ged has been training with Morecambe's first team squad.
|
Re: Ged Brannan
Ged Brannan is siging a deal with Morecambe until the end of the season.
Under the transfer window rules he is unable to sign until 1 November. |
Re: Ged Brannan
Your gain - our loss, good luck again Ged hope it all works out for you
