NO CHANCE they will leave us!!!!!
Two of our best players, no surprise your club would be interested.

I reckon they would mate, if the money was right for club & player

I would hope both are ambitious, studious, professional, committed etc etc

Lets hope RUFC ain't got much cash to offer eh? Or that this is a little rumour & not fact!

funny it looks like a FOR SALE sign to me

it would take an offer of a significant sum of money before we would even consider allowing one of our key players to leave at this stage of the season.

If Craney goes we wouldn't get much for him, although Altrincham would benefit in a big way.

Wasn't there some ridiculously high sell-on clause for Altrincham if we ever sold him? Surely it wouldn't be worth our while to sell him?

Its 50% i think so no its worth keeping him till we get a huge offer:engsmil:

That's quite true. I just hope the speculation doesn't affect either of them on the field. Look what happened to Rory! ;)

Think Gary needs to focus more on that final ball b4 anyone takes him, George Boyd head & shoulders above Gary at the mo cause he is so composed when it comes to that delivery or shot at goal

dont think we can compare either to rory of evil as i reckon the main reason they went is that they had a detrimental effect on team moral! craney looks like the team has been built around him at the moment

The only comparison I was referring to was the way that once Rory 'believed' that he was good enough for the Football League, it affected his whole attitude towards the club and consequently his performances too.

Re: Rotherham After 2 Stanley Players

if either of them go anywhere, then I hope the fee is not undisclosed. I know that football is run as a business but I think that fans have a right to see what money is going in and out of the club. Don't forget that as good as this club is at the moment, they have not published their accounts for a few years, not since the Brett Ormerod transfer. We have no idea whether our club is cash rich or treading water. Another thing to consider is that £24,000 can sound like a lot of money, but is equivalent to 100 people on the gate for 20 matches. Does Ian Craney put 100 people on the gate every week or would we lose 100 people by selling him. Irrelevant anyway as Eric wont sell mid-season.

The club have issued a statement saying they will sell if the offer is good enough.

But Rotherham wouldn't gamble that amount of money on non-league players, surely
