They're not even fron Accy, they're a load of soft southern jessies from Southampton!

And they're imposters! The real Accrington Stanley (the band) were formed in 1970 and existed for around 18 months. The line-up consisted mainly of local lads including "Wammy" who still gigs around East Lancashire and a couple of ex-Warriors. One of them, Dave Foster, has some pics of the band on his site.

There's also another Accrington Stanley band. This lot are from the Midlands and are, bizzarely, a Beatles tribute band! They've been going for 24 years and they say they took the name "after the football team had finished playing and disbanded."!!
