Conference TV....HELP!!

Any of you techies out there able to help??

I can bring up the home page on Firefox, but the videos don't play.
If I try on Internet Explorer,I can get the video, sound perfect, but video appears to be a collection of 'stills'.

This applies whether I connect from home broadband, or from work. (From same laptop)

Anyone able to explain, in plain English?

As Wogan would say, 'Is it me??'

Have you tried it in Explorer? I get a better stream on IE than I do with Firefox

Hi Guys,

Thanks for your comments, looks like I'll have to get my IT expert (aka son-in-law) involved!

It can be a bit of a pain with Firefox, I just use IE for That website and certain others, Firefox for general web-use.

The problem is the coding, its probably coded to comply with IE standards, which are not standard to everything else, its a shambles really.

Re: Conference TV....HELP!!

Like AccyStanFan said, if you click on pop-up it should open in your default media player for handling wmv files, e.g. Windows Media Player. That way, you should not have an issue with playing media files inside your browser.

Alternatively, go to http://www.conferencefootball.tv/New...3,5894,00.html and click on the hyperlinked summaries under the scores. Again, this should open up your files in your default media player.

[quote=Whalley Red]Like AccyStanFan said, if you click on pop-up

Cheers for that, both of you.........am now viewing OK using IE
In my ignorance, I'd no idea what 'pop-up' meant, was afraid I'd be inundated with unwanted adverts!!
Karma on its way!
