Hopefully we will be in store for a treat of a game on Monday 2nd. We were unlucky to lose yesterday, but hopefully we can come to the IES and win.

I reckon we will bring a fair few stands, enough to vfill out that side bit (where you break your knuckles if you jump up and cheer!), but it should be a good day out :)

Can't wait!

Dont think so - just rechecked all the footy result websites and they all said 2-2 - I think he must already be on Tuesday 3rd Jan over there... Never heard of the Pennines time warp??

Whilst there was sone noise coming from the away end, the prob was that it wasn't loud enough to hear what you were actually chanting. I heard a 'Can you hear Halifax sing' in the first half which kind of tailed off and that was it until you sang 'You're not singing anymore' after your equaliser. I could use the same argument; by singing that song you were obviously acknowledging that we were singing, at least in the second half anyway.

Your crowd was not as good as it was last season. You were more colourful and made more noise last year than you did on Monday. And you weren't top of the league last season.

I believe there were between 400-500 Stanley fans there on Monday. In contrast, if we beat Scaroborugh, and after such a good game on monday, I would expect a Yorkshire invasion with 750-1000 Town fans making the journey next week (so there'll be nearly as many of us as home fans). We will provide the atmosphere, so don't go troubling yourselves as I know it is not the norm for the home fans to make any noise at the IES. :D

There was no singing from Halifax supporters at all till your first goal when, finally, you dozy Yorkies woke up! And, hey, there was only one team's supporters singing at the end and I detected a distinct lack of Yorky twang in their voices! You lot would do better to stick to winning dancing contests and leave the footie to us!

Actually mate, we sang "you were'nt singing anyway!" in repsonse to your "you're not singing anymore".....

But hey you carry on, we threw more streamers last year thats all, we've done that. What've you done to bring some colour & passion to the Shay?

Please have a guess which pics are of the support at home in their super stadia, please then decide, without bias, who has put an effort in to support the team & who are therefore the best fans?

Answers on a small postcard to ......:D
