the club put the covers on the pitch yesturday so it should be fine to play on unless we have a fussy ref

Google Page Ranking unless it freezes.....plus do the covers now cover all of the pitch or just the main stand side?

Plus there's snow forecast and if the terracing is frozen the game would be called off for safety reasons.

Looking at local games tonight, Bolton, Blackburn, Blackpool, etc were all called off. I'd think that Southport may be under threat for Friday night too.

I'm sitting in my flat (about 500 yds from "The Stadium Of Blight" - copyright Henry Morton) with two cardigans, thick socks, a pair of slippers, and of course the pipes . . . the central heating pipes up full, that is !

im hoping the match will be on and knowing stanley they will do all the things possible to make the ground safe enough to play on with spectators all around with lots of noise coming from the home end
