not wishing to count chickens just yet as Exeter away will be a toughie, but considering the games in hand on Exeter are against the two teams occupying the bottom two spots (Tamworth and Southport) lets take a look at the revised league table assuming a 2-0 win in both games. I like Grays so I'm going to give them a win no matter who their game in hand is against.

after Mondays game Accrington will have played 13 home games and only 9 away games so definitely dont count any chickens. The Shrimps are coming!

Re: 2006 Year of the Phoenix?

Who cares if the "mighty" (and I use the term very loosely) shrimpers are coming (don't you just love winding them up). Stanley are not afraid of anyone in this league, we have played most teams now and even beaten Grays on their own patch (a feat only emulated by Canvey) so why should we not count a few chickens. We Stanley fans all hope to get our team into the Football League (please note I will not say again as this is a new company) as no doubt every other team in the Conference want to do. So Good luck to all teams but I hope the Stanley achieve their primary goal (pardon the pun) and achieve promotion without the lottery of the play-offs.
