Dont know if the security officer or the guy that give us permission to go onto the pitch read this message board but a big thankyou for helping us out in sorting a pub opening early for us and also getting onto the pitch meant a lot to us all.

Thanks for all you help and good luck for the rest of the season.

I'm sure that our Chief Safety Officer, Mick Schultz, will have okayed that, and I'd like to take this opportunity to thank Mick and his colleagues for their truly professional performance last Monday.

It was an honour to watch their patient and good humoured dealings with the Town fans who were (understandably !) getting rather excited at the Coppice end.

The police were available but never needed, as far as I could see.
