I was just browsing the net, when i found i great chant that some conference team used to sing, edited it a bit, please tell me what you think:

yeah, exactly, it was just an idea, it can be advanced, but i used a localish team like chester to do it

Aye, you need to keep the words and the tune simple & quick and which most people know. Its also helpful if it's associated with winning. Maybe summat like this:



I looked over t'coppice, and what did I see?
Coming for to carry me home,
A team called Stanley, coming after me,
Coming for to carry me home.

Swing Low,sweet Stanl-er-lee........etc etc.

the people who sing would learn the words whatever, even it was all Swahili. It is a top tune that you can really get your lungs behind, even just the chorus ad nauseum works.

We do need an anthem
