New shorts sponsor and directors!
 

Gary Slinger is a long time supporter and sponsor of the club, with a wealth of business and management experience. He is currently Plant Manager of Eaton's Truck Components factory in Manchester.

Also joining the board is Jim Kenyon following his retirement from his post as secretary of the Lancashire FA at the end of last month. Jim has been a friend of the club for many years and will be a powerful ally with his knowledge of the game and contacts with people involved in football at all levels.

Stanley's new shorts sponsor will be unveiled at our live Sky TV match against Exeter this evening. The deal will run till the end of the season, full details will be announced tomorrow!

All sounds good to me another step in the direction. Nice to se the club are making every bit of money from sponsors that they can :)

No, I didn’t because I don’t have Sky and after the match no one posted the information on the official site.

Please, don’t leave us out; If it was important enough to announce that there was to be an announcement live before kick off, it’s importance enough to tell those of us left behind. Grip over with. Thanks for that Ozzy. I hope it's taken as a criticism, I know people are very busy and that there’s a lot of activity behind the scenes, but I’m a nosey sod and like to know what’s going on.

Just another quick point - has anyone seen on the fishy site yet official mention of said shorts sponsors - coz I can't find it, also, no mention of the game on Confguide against Exeter, except for the preview, is everyone jealous when you are top of the league??
