Re: FAO Tannoy Man

if Impossible Dream is gonna be our theme tune for the night then it needs moving to the end of the playlist ensuring that as many people as possible are in da house.

Re: FAO Tannoy Man

Can we stick to portraying the passion, belief and determination? Just stick with impossible dream it says it all, all 44 years of it.

Just to merge with the points made in another thread if you want to e-mail me your version of the song sheet Diesel, I'll knock off a hundred for you. 2 x 1 A4 200 song sheets

Re: FAO Tannoy Man

Excellent mixture - Will be done for Morecambe Match.

Do we still want the teams to run out to "Swords of a thousand men"? This was the popular request previously, or can you think of another.

spud 13-02-2006 09:04

Re: FAO Tannoy Man

You might want to shorten the list a bit, there's not enough time before kick off to get em all in.

spud 13-02-2006 09:16

Re: FAO Tannoy Man

My sugestions are as follows..
Lose.1. Kaiser Cheifs, accy riot. It's wearing a bit thin now
2. Garry Puckett, young girl. ??????????????????????
3. Oasis, Lyla. It's not that i don't like em, there's just to many on the list.
4. Oasis, wonderwall. See above reasons, sorry shaker!

ADD...1. I AM THE RESURECTION..THE STONE ROSES...Very appropriate at the moment!!:not_ripe:

Diesel

Are you getting them put together on CD to give to us or do you want me to find them and do it???

Karen

shakermaker 13-02-2006 11:05

Re: FAO Tannoy Man

Yeah I agree replace Wonderwall/Lyla with I Am The Resurrection...or Love Spreads....and throw Waterfall in there too :D

I think 'When The Sun Goes Down' would be better than '....dancefloor'

Diesel 13-02-2006 11:10

Re: FAO Tannoy Man

Kipax, I wanted a playlist that had some good modern songs in that people will enjoy, as well as some tracks that will get the crowd going just prior to kick-off, I think I've got a near perfect playlist myself

KIPAX 13-02-2006 12:53

Re: FAO Tannoy Man

exactly... near perfect... does perfect scare you? :)

shakermaker 13-02-2006 13:22

maccawozzagod 13-02-2006 17:43

Re: FAO Tannoy Man

dont forget to shift Impossible Dream to the end and can we have the Carter version rather than Andy Williams, its a little bit quicker. And can we have some amps behind the tannoy Mr Tannoy Man?

maccawozzagod 13-02-2006 17:43

Re: FAO Tannoy Man

and can you pipe it to the Regency as I may be there until very close to sevenish

Re: FAO Tannoy Man

I've burned it now, I think the Andy Williams version will be better as people will have heard it on the honda advert

KIPAX 13-02-2006 18:22

Re: FAO Tannoy Man

Good man.... cant wait to hear the honda advert :)

Diesel 13-02-2006 18:29

Re: FAO Tannoy Man

As long as Tannoy Man doesn't say "I couldn't have put it any better myself" at the end

Willie Miller 13-02-2006 20:35

Re: FAO Tannoy Man

Carter version is smiles better

Sort it Deisel!

Tannoy man should announce the teams in a huge rage of passion then start the song, we can then carry out the riot of colour (Ultras Display) & sing the Impossible Dream till our lungs bleed

Then bish bash bosh, 3-0 Accy & Morecambe can shrimp & cockle back to the seaside (in the loosest sense of the word-where'e the polo tower gone?)

Dream the Impossible Dream, forget Hymn sheets as I know it all!!!! & will bring the t-shirt tomorrow to Burscough to practice

Diesel 14-02-2006 12:56

Re: FAO Tannoy Man

I think you've missed the point Jase

I don't just want the usual few people singing, I want as many singing as possible. Hence the song sheets and the Andy Williams version. Everybodys heard the song on the advert, nobody will struggle singing it. Whereas I don't imagine there would be too many have heard the Carter USM version

I wonder what would happen if I played "Agadoo" when the teams take field.;)
