‘No Limit Texas Hold’em’ is fast becoming extremely popular here in the UK. People say that it only takes five mins to learn, but a lifetime to master! You may have seen it on Sky TV, or even have played it before. Well now you can have the chance to enter the A.S.S.C. ‘ No Limit l Hold’em’ Tournament. The tournament is open to 24 players ( MUST be over 18 years of age to enter ), and will be held in the Sports Bar on the above date. Each entrant will be asked for a £10.00 ‘buy in’, there will be four tables of 6 players, playing down to a final table of 4. Prizes for 1<SUP>st</SUP>,2<SUP>nd</SUP>,3<SUP>rd</SUP>, and 4<SUP>th</SUP> place will be as follows:-<O:p</O:p
4<SUP>th</SUP> place = £10<O:p</O:p
3<SUP>rd.</SUP> place = £15<O:p</O:p
2<SUP>nd</SUP> place = £25<O:p</O:p
1<SUP>st</SUP> place = £40 + Medal

This means a total prize fund of £90 and a donation to A.S.F.C. of £150 via the supporters club.<O:p</O:p

Interested? Then please leave your name and contact number on the application list situated in the Sports Bar, all entrants to be signed up by 03/03/06 monies paid on the night.


Be quick though as places are limited to 24 only!!

The bar will be open ( according to Rob ), so why not come and watch the fun, and cheer on your mates!!??

upto now Doug there are seven registerd players but that shuld double by Monday night.................hope you can join us as it should be a giggle!!

I don’t play, I won’t know what I’m doing but if you put me on the reserve list I’ll play if you don’t fill all the places. I will however need a minder who can give me pointers on the night to stop me from being taken for a ride……

Doug .. Until I get there on the night I honestly have no idea how to play the game either. But I know these other girls that are palying... ukcowboy, budmak etc.. I reckon I could beat them at owt! and then find out how:)

If you wanna know how to play then just search texas holdem rules into your search engine and youll find loads of info.............dead easy to learn but mastering the game takes forever!!!

Regrettably I will be letting the side down tonight; I can assure you that it not optional for me. However, so that no one loses out I will pay my dues concede my hand. If you need the money for the pot tonight I can paypal it over, not withstanding that I will hand it over to the chair on Monday night at the Supporters Club Meeting.
