First live match for 59 years
 

As a young lad staying with an uncle in Barrow I was taken to a match against Accrington Stanley. Last Friday I went to the game against Gravesend which was 59 years later. I have been an armchair supporter in between and saw the decline,fall and now climb once again to Football League Status. Crawley will be my next visit, living in Kent I am only in reasonable distance of a few grounds.
Great to see the name once again in lights may it be forever this time.

im about to say typical Accrington glory supporter now you're going into the league, but then i realised, we've got 9000 glory supporters that went to Old Trafford

Let's see how many you bring Saturday - not a lot, as Mr Daniels would say. BTW we had more at our cup tie against Crewe (yes, Crewe, not Man U) a while ago.

Not unless he was only one when his uncle took him to see Stanley 59 years ago.
