hereford where top of the league when they came here and brought 120 fans... we are top of the league and we will take more than that there this time..

Re: Hereford Travel

Yes, with less than 500 you will certainly be under the stand. Pay the extra and sit above - the view is good. Must admit I wouldn't like being under the stand but a good number of our fans use the same terrace further down. I think the trick is, if you don't like the pillars, don't stand behind them!

Safe trip. Should be a good game, one bad result shouldn't stop you.

Re: Hereford Travel

in future if theres a thread ref away travel could we stick to the topic. I assume that it would make it easier for the bus conductor to see who wants to go if he can just count names, rather than reading Kipax's Guide to the Galaxy (an idea for a name for your pictorial guide to non-league football book that you don't yet know your gonna have an idea to compose (royalties payable to my real name rather than pseudo-monicker)).

Re: Hereford Travel

I really, really want to go to Hereford, but I've just found out today that I now can't go. I'm very disappointed, as I don't get to many away games nowadays and I've never been to Hereford. :(

I hope to make a couple of away games before the end of the season though.

Also, on the return leg a few Stanley are staying over at mine on Saturday night (about 7 already) for the first pre promotion party in the big City!

All welcome, PM me if you interested. . . . . (no not you Cuddy!)

What a fairweather! Hereford must be the dream trip for Northern Minkeys - friendly locals, proper cider and splendid countryside. Not a whippett or a factory chimney in sight. Come on, you know you want to.

I'll tell you what's even more disappointing. When I think of all the dross I've watched over the last 27 years and all the money I've spent travelling, it really pains me to be missing out of some of the best times this club have ever seen. :( So don't rub it in. ;)

Re: Hereford Travel

Sorry - just the usual pre-match banter. I am looking forward to the game - not sure how we will do because of our well documented injury list but I'm sure it will be a "proper" game.

I've arranged to meet up with young Kipax the phantom photographer for a beer and wind-up before the festivities begin.

The Meadowend will be in full voice!
