Questions please for Eric Whalley

Good evening

My name is Luke Gale and I am contacting you from a community radio station in Preston called Preston FM.

On our show tommorrow we have your Chairman Eric Whalley on the phone and I was wondering what you Stanley fans would ask him if you had the opportunity to.

I myself am a PNE fan.

If you would like to tune in you can listen online at www.preston.fm

Any questions would be much appreciated.

Cheers and good luck/congratulations:D

Sorry I should have mentioned that. Saturday morning from 10am til 1pm. I think we expecting Eric Whalley on the show at 12pm.

Questions please. It is a great opportunity for you Stanley fans to have your questions answered.

Has there been some news regarding John Coleman and no renewed contract?

Q. if we get promoted there is talk of a new First aid room and a police control room and more turnstiles all required before the start of the season.. Is that list correct and if so.. Is funding in place.

Difference is.. Stanley hold an open house.. you can go there any day and have a brew with him and ask him.. you can email him or phone him and we regularly have Q&A sessions through this forum.. doesnt leave many questions that havent been answered....

I already know the answer to the one I gave you but was trying to help

Cheers for the help I was unaware of how Stanley went about it. If there are any questions people would like to leave on here that have been answered already it would be much appreciated.

Its mainly for football fans. People in the local area of Preston who are seeing how their local teams are doing.

We all know about Blackburn, Bolton, Wigan and you could say our own success but its clubs like yours (no disrespect) that a lot of people dont really recognise or know much about.

I fully believe you will get promoted you lot must be absolutely ecstatic and congratulations when you do go up at rejoining the league. It's great to have a founder member back in the league.

If you guys could think of any questions in which we could ask that would inform the Preston community that would be great. I will have a look at the questions on your main site.

Again thanks but please keep posting.

Re: Questions please for Eric Whalley

There is some news at our end that there is unrest between manager and chairman, is this just idle gossip or is there any truth behind the rumours.

Rumour has it that even if Coleman manages to get you guys into the football league, he wont be offered a new contract.

Any news on that at your end? Any questions you'd like asking on that?

KIPAX 17-03-2006 21:51

Re: Questions please for Eric Whalley

Now your just ****e stirring to provoke a response and some questions....Then you go on the show and ask them without letting on you led the subject.. Well out of order :(

This is what I have found on our website.

Could you ask Eric Whalley what went on in the Hereford boardroom after the game last week. I believe John Coleman was thrown out in the after match "glass of wine meeting" . <not sure he'd want to answer but it's worth a shot?

That may be the reason why Eric Whalley was quoted as saying there would be no contract offer made to Coleman whether they go up or not

Re: Questions please for Eric Whalley

Try reading these forums before you start causing trouble suggesting he wont be offered a contract... the hereford fiasco has been done to death .

no contract my arse :(

I predict a riot-& a quiet preston radio station at 12 pm Saturday!!!!! Ask but do not lead-not Erics style or the way of ASFC fans either.
To show no sour grapes heres an interesting one top help you out:
How does Eric feel about attendances this season & what plans does he & the club have to ensure improvement in Div 2 next season given our nestling between two other larger league clubs?

unrest! thirteen points clear with nine games left and a fella in charge that has taken us through two promotions and brought numerous pieces of silverware to the club, not to mention a good few cup runs with league scalps. why on earth would there be unrest between anyone at the club?

its just out and out stirring, it is beyond me why anyone would want to do it? why can't you just do your research like normal grown up people from the media, haven't had anyone on the forum from sky, bbc, itv, channel 4 etc asking for questions!

if there was any truth in anything you've said it would be maddening that someone was trying to blow something out of proportion and cause bother (you're not a hereford fan are you?), as it is your attempts to dig up some dirt are laughable, go away and come back when you're ready to tell the people of preston about the good things that are going on down the m65!

good luck with your career when you leave school :)
